A collection of random thoughts:

I see we haven't forgone our love of melodrama round here.

I've clearly left something important out of the self-defense curriculum. Still, I've got the summer to re-write it.

The reason people hear the same thing so many times is because they don't listen the first time.

Instinct is another word for habit.

"Death by cop" is a pretty bloody extreme cry for attention, but whatever works, I guess.

When you start talking like a Heinlein character, it's time to take less sodding drugs.

Habits can be broken, instincts can be changed, however you wanna put it, but it takes time. And I'm getting there - six months ago, I'd've been halfway to Manhattan before I stopped to think, after I saw Jono's post.

Less drugs? This place could do with more chilling out, me included.

Oh! I just started reading a Heinlein story! It's about this old man who has his brain transfered into this young woman's body. It's really kinda neat. I want to read more of his stuff after I'm done. We have a couple Heinlein books in the library, do you have any recommendations for which I should read next?

Personally, I'd recommend staying away from the dodgy old facist, but that's no reflection on his ability as a writer. "Stranger in A Strange Land" and "Time Enough For Love" were fairly entertaining.
